Hello once again.

It's been a while... indeed almost five months actually, I can't believe the time gone so quickly. The reason behind the not having internet so long is Josh and I moved into a flat together and we had issues with getting hooked up.

I have lots of plans to make new things very soon so keep your eye peeled! I've got to say these last five months make me realise how little I missed the internet and tv ... yes you heard right we don't have a tv in the flat, just use the magic of i-player ey! I've finally got around to watching Man Men series ... and got to say it was a slow burner for me but, now I love it.

I have a day off work today, so I'm going to make the most of this beautiful weather we're having at present... what better thing to do then go to the beach, read my book and listen the music. I must not forget my camera! I'm always forgetting to take it places.

Peter Callesen talks about his art and paper...

Extraordinary how Peter uses just one sheet of A4 paper to create 3D sculptures, I find it fascinating how artists such as Peter use everyday objects of which people take for granted and turn it into something completely unique.

I tried pancakes with strawberries in and I got to say there not as good as my
blue berry pancakes, still nice though.

I love sitting here and eating breakfast in the morning... Sadly I have some bad news this morning I went to give Jessica some food and noticed she was breathing heavy and hadn't eaten yesterdays food which is not like her. Checked on her within that hour and she had sadly passed away. Love you Jessica you will be sadly missed.

Spooning In A Spoon!

I came across this clip on Emily Martin blog and I remember watching this when I was much younger. Such a fantastic clip and funny to watch it now that I'm older. Take a look for yourself, and tell me what you think.

Book Review

I've recently finished reading this book and well what a fantastic novel it is. I find her style of writing beautiful, almost melodic and so incredibly descriptive and evocative of the senses that you really feel like you step into the world of the characters whilst reading.
The Hand That First Held Mine follows two stories. The first of Lexie Sinclair, a young girl who runs away from boring life in the country to post-war London where she holds her ground as a strong, admirable journalist. She takes on this adventure with Innes Kent. Her love story with Innes is intense and their intellectual connection is one to dream about.
The second of a modern day couple, Elina and Ted who also resides in London. Elina is not settling into motherhood very well, having to struggle with memory and sleep deprivation. Ted does not luck out himself. He has struggles of his own, piecing together memories of his childhood he is unable to remember. Elina and Ted's story brings a different take on the birth of a baby and how it fundamentally changes the parents.

Essey Illusion Tall Table - Click Image to Close

Essey Illusion Table, Grey

Essey Illusion Table, Grey. This eye catching side table gives the impression of a tablecloth on a round table. However, the object uses the structural strength of the folded material to create a magical and surprising experience – an illusion. Designed by John Brauer

Wild Bride @ The Asylum

Thumbnail Image

The Wild Bride

From the moment visitors start driving into the field and are coaxed into your parking space by a smiling face -the performance begins, A few of us sells the programmes in a blue apron emblazoned with Asylum may be dancing on the bar later, the barmaid is likely to take part in a post-performance musical interlude, the directors mingle with the crowd and the actors themselves are always multi-talented -singing, dancing, playing several instruments -not to mention several roles within one play.
Kneehigh is intimate, enticing and enthralling and always seem to get the whole audience involved. Part story telling, often dark, with a hint of the circus. Every time I leave I cannot fail to look back at the word Asylum in twinkling lights above the entrance and immediately you regret leaving and  feel drawn back into its cavernous depths.

I made the rose and Lizze made her very own wild bride out of plasticine

Say Ello

Say hello to Jessica...

I've had Jessica now for three years now, I named her after Jessica Rabbit who feathered in the 1988 film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' one of my all time favorite films to watch. Jess my rabbit is a giant flemish rabbit. She's the cutest thing ever, if I say so myself.

Summer House...

7 x 7 cornerhouse

New project on the horizon is plans for this corner summer house to be built at our stables (Mollies Meadow). It will be a nice place to sit down put your feet up after going out for a ride or whatever and boil the kettle to have a nice cup of tea, of course don't forget the cake and biscuits. It shall be arriving this Friday so, everyones getting excited. Already brought a nice fluffy rug and stove to go inside. I was thinking of making some soft furnishing today here's the sorts of cushions I'm thinking of creating myself below. Perhaps I could make some horse inspired cushions.

These cushions are adorable and would add a perfect touch to any room.
